Mr. Geoffrey “Geoff; GT” Tokajer serves in the United States Department of Defense. A native of Long Island, New York, Mr. Tokajer’s lifelong service to country will span its 4th decade in 2020. Mr. Tokajer enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1992 at the age of 17 and crossed the parade deck at Parris Island as a United States Marine in 1993. Since then, Mr. Tokajer has served in a number of roles and capacities within combat arms, intelligence and military law in support of Naval Special Warfare within the United States Special Operations Command.
Mr. Tokajer’s work in social media information warfare research and development demonstrated how unwitting people propagate the harmful and often false information of malicious human and automated botnet actors in online information warfare operations. The work was groundbreaking for the SOCOM and interagency communities to synchronize learning, training and operational focus of Special Operations Forces, the Intelligence and Law Enforcement communities, private industry and academia. Tokajer’s work has helped government understand how to develop and lead a workforce to leverage big data and open media sources toward National Security objectives.
Mr. Tokajer’s degrees include a Masters in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice Legal Policy. He and his wife Erin have three children and currently reside in Virginia.
